AT HOME NEWBORN PHOTOSHOOT FOR LIZZIE AND JEN
There’s something magical about watching a family welcome a newborn into their home, and for this session, I had the honor of capturing a loving family with two mums and their cats. It was our second time working together — the first being for their maternity photos — so this session felt incredibly relaxed and natural.
Their home, bustling with warmth and love, perfectly mirrored their lives: busy yet cozy, full of homebody moments. The atmosphere was even sweeter when one of their cats climbed onto my lap and purred, adding a truly heartwarming touch to the day. The cats had welcomed the baby as if he had always been part of the family.
A Calming, Intimate photo Session with Pets
Having the chance to document their newborn surrounded by pets added an extra layer of authenticity. There’s something special about capturing not just parents and newborn, but also the cats who are very much part of the family.
